Terra Delft Gallery Gallery for contemporary ceramics

statement

“I cut patterns into clay. I seek rythm and matter of course. Space between, clay and glaze, patterns in layers on layer.

It takes time and goes slow.

I do not reflect on contents or meaning, I become absorbed into the process of doing and into the discoveries of possibilities that arise when I work.

I let myself be swept away.

I see glimpses of variations, fragments of changes and I allow myself to enter deeply.”
