Purchase by the Victoria & Albert Museum
During the fair Collect at the Saatchi Gallery in Londen the Victoria & Albert Museum has purchased a work of the Danish Artist Louise Hindsgavl. This piece of art is called: ' One never knows when it will turn on you'.
Louise Hindsgavl graduated from Designskolen Kolding (DK) in 1999 specialising in one-off pieces. Hindsgavl mainly works in porcelain. Her works have a distinctly narrative expression, both when she works with one-off pieces and with more utilitarian items. She wants us to experience the multiplicity of ceramics through her work, while at the same time stimulating our imaginations.
