2025: winner National Ceramics Prize 'The KEI'
In the Old Church in Delft, on June 13, 2025, Anton Reijnders received a distinction (ceramic stone) and a check for 7,500 euros from Mayor Marja van Bijsterveldt: the National Ceramics Prize De Kei, 2025 edition. Part of the prize is the exhibition at Galerie Terra Delft; Ataraxia.
Ataraxia is an ancient Greek concept that stands for inner peace, calmness, and unshakability. It's a state of mind where you're no longer swept away by emotions, worries, or external circumstances. You stay clear-headed and present, without getting tangled up in things you can't change.
Ataraxia is the balance between feeling and letting go, a state of mental freedom where you stay in touch with yourself, even when life is stormy.
