LMFD Studio, established in 2021, means Luo Mi Feng Dou Studio and primarily creates ceramic daily use vessels and ceramic sculptural ornaments. “Luo Mi” is a homonym of “glutinous rice”, representing Hu Chunyu (1993-Hefei). “Fengdou” is a homonym of “red bean”, representing Jiang Yuting (1993-Yangzhou). This is because glutinous rice and red bean can be combined to create a sweet and delicious dessert, symbolizing that this studio as sweet and interesting as our own lives. In 2024 LMFD Studio won silver on the 13th International Ceramics Competition Mino, Japan in the category Ceramic Arts with Weaving into Ware.
