Naidee Chanmoh

Naidee Chanmoh

We met Naidee Changmoh from Thailand in China at the project in Xishuangbanna (CN). Naidee Changmoh is best known for his large-scale monk figures and he also creates free-form sculpted cement huts as art living spaces. He makes us smile at his cartoonish monks and mystical images. He makes these captivating images in all kinds of sizes.

His figurative sculptures are inspired by the cartoons of his childhood, his Buddhist philosophy and draw from the energy of purity and positivity as well as his life in Thailand where he runs a kindergarten of 200 children and a dog shelter.
