Peter Hiemstra is an artist who creates cartoons. His imaginative and colorful images are not unambiguous forms, but scenes or events that stand in the middle between witty and bizarre, honest and vulnerable. The world of Peter Hiemstra meets its own laws, values and truths.
Peter Hiemstra received an honorable mention for his Dutch dandy at the eleventh Gyeonggi International Ceramics Biennale, Korea, in 2021.
