The workshops take place from 11:00 to 15:30, coffee/tea and lunch are included.
Chinese painting on ceramics
After an introduction to the techniques and motifs used by Chinese painters to decorate ceramics, you will get to work yourself. Both regular and authentic, handmade Chinese brushes will be used.
To practice the brushstroke of the various brushes, you will first practice with water on special A4-sized drawing boards. The brushstroke can be practiced on these. The products to be decorated are bisque (fired once) baked. The result is glazed and fired in a professional ceramics kiln at 1130°C, after which it is dishwasher safe.
The painted products are not immediately ready to take home. They can be picked up or sent after approx. 10 working days due to the firing process. Shipping of the painted products is also possible. Mentioned amounts do not include any shipping and packaging costs.
