Keramiekprijs De Kei is awarded once every two years to a ceramist of exceptional quality. The prize consists of a cash prize of € 7,500. The 2nd and 3rd nominees each receive an amount of 500 euros. The organization is in the hands of the Delft Ceramics Promotion Foundation (SKPD). On 12 November 2023, the three nominees was announced in Museum Prinsenhof Delft, and the winner of the Keramiekprijs De Kei 2023 has been chosen from among the three; winner KEI 2023 is Rachel de Joode.

The prizes are awarded in the form of three symbolic checks and a ceramic boulder. After the award ceremony, the accompanying exhibition will be opened. The 3 nominated artists each submit 3 works for this. The 12 others selected are requested to contribute 1 work to the exhibition.
