The Tree Art Museum is located in Song Zhuang, Beijing. Construction of the 3200 m2 building started in November 2010 and it opened its doors in September 2012. As an arts colony, Song Zhuang is widely-known for range of progressive art venues, which can be visited only by appointment. This new addition to the “artists’ village” is owned by the Chinese Contemporary Art Development Foundation and designed by Daipu, a young architect in China who leads a comparatively small design team.
