The demonstration Brandpunt Terra 2011 / Focus in Terra 2011 has had a dynamic start on 23 April in the Oude Kerk/Old Church from Delft.
The crowded opening event with about 1000 visitors was started by the Dutch Minister of Culture Marja van Bijsterveldt. The minister visited with great interest the dynamic exhibition ‘The Figuratives’ in the Oude Kerk on which organisor Simone Haak from the Terra Delft Gallery informed her about the various international participants.
After the opening the crowd took off to visit the different locations in the sunny citycentre of Delft. These locations are easy to be found through the track in the pavement created by glazed bricks. All together contemporary ceramic art is shown from about eighty different artists. Terra Delft Gallery has bundled her exhibitions in a book (in English) retail price 25, Felicity Aylieff’s DVD included.
