During the international ceramics days in Oldenburg (D), 5 and 6 August 2017, Beatrijs van Rheeden won the 1st prize of the Neue Keramik competition with a porcelain sculpture. This Prize consists a certificate and an artist-in-residence project of the winners choice. In addition, in 2018 Van Rheeden will have a solo exhibition in the Marble hall of the Oldenburg Castle.
