The closed, turned pot structure has become the artist’s trademark.He turns them upside down with the flat top on the potter’s wheel.This is not simply decorative art, instead the pots serve as information carriers, in which both the form and content are important.He is constantly searching for remnants of spent energy.A permanent tension is evoked by the ongoing struggle between sobriety and decoration, between essence and embellishment.The balanced combination of shape, colour and perfect finish convey the artist’s message to the observer.
