The Tang series by LiZhen is characterized by the use of sancai glaze. The colors yellow-green-brown are applied to a white background, just like the ceramics from the Tang dynasty (618-906). Many Chinese artists have a strong sense of their cultural history and refer to it in their contemporary designs.
