Eliza Au is virtuoso with her thin clay grids as a 21st-century digital-craft ceramicist.
She assembles perforated clay panels into spatial square or round structures. Prior to this, there is a digital design process with CAD (computer-aided design). Patterns and structures mirror and multiply each other as a “play between complexity and order.” Although small, everything appears monumental like architecture.
