I use stoneware and porcelain in my practice. The wheel allows me to create my forms. I truly love throwing. My motifs are very repetitive, but the techniques I use to create them are very varied: I paint, engrave, or sometimes both. I multiply the layers of engobes and/or glaze to create differences between each piece.
I mainly fire in an electric kiln, but I travel every year to the famous village of Laborne to participate in wood firings. I feel that through this motif I'm developing, I've found a path that allows me to explore all the techniques of ceramics while maintaining a sense of unity between my pieces.
