A delicate bundle of parallel lines evokes the sense of a plane, subtly dividing the curved surface of the cylinder. To the eye, these patterns unfold as optical illusions—visually complex, yet grounded in a calming simplicity through their strict order. I see my works as flat compositions of lines, while in essence they are three-dimensional objects.

My practice is rooted in material and technique. It draws from filigree covering materials found in traditional book design, classical ceramic coloring methods, and the timeless cylindrical form of the vessel.
