Terra 30! Multiple: Encounter with many friends

In 2016, in the monumental old heart of Delft, Terra Delft Gallery is celebrating its 30-year anniversary: throughout the year there are duo exhibitions where artists with a long association with the gallery are paired up with artists who are making their debut in Delft. This has resulted in splendid combinations.

A highlight is the exhibition from 14 May – 25 June: Terra 30! Multiple

Simone Haak and Joke Doedens have invited artists connected with the gallery to create a multiple with a maximum sale price of 300 euros. This presented a challenge, a possibility to work outside of their usual boundaries. Those who generally make large sculptures were limited by size, and those who usually make smaller functional work had the chance to take a more generous approach. The enthusiasm and participation of a wide range of artists (37!) made it clear that this was a surprising concept. The Multiple expo goes with an accordion book with pictures of the specially-created work.
