Forty years of Galerie Terra Delft: an anniversary to reflect on and to celebrate!

In 2026, Galerie Terra Delft marks this milestone with a grand celebration. This celebration takes shape, among other things, in The Table of 40!: a festive and carefully curated exhibition of forty ceramic works by forty ceramic artists.

Each work marks one of the forty years during which Galerie Terra Delft, from 1986 to 2026, provided an inspiring platform for contemporary ceramics. Together they tell the story of four decades of craftsmanship, innovation, and passion.

The selection is full of diversity: utilitarian objects alongside autonomous sculptures, figurative works alongside abstract, geometric, and organic forms, and a rich array of techniques. The Table of 40! is thus an ode to the ceramic artists with whom Galerie Terra Delft has built a long-lasting, close, and inspiring collaboration over the years.
